Free legal help!

Many entrepreneurs have everyday life full of tasks and challenges. Law and legal issues are often downgraded because it is difficult and a little scary.

Insj in cooperation with the faculty of law has developed a free, low-key offer to provide easy access to legal insight.

The main goal is to give law students an arena for hands-on business law experience and then it's a nice bonus that companies can get free help!

Our goals

A nationwide offer

Law students have a need for practical experience , and entrepreneurs need help, no matter where in Norway they are located. Our goal is to be able to connect law students with start-up companies when and where it is needed.

A knowledge center

Most issues a start-up company faces are not unique. Most of it is things everyone has to solve and that are common to all. We want to be able to democratize legal insight so that the threshold for innovation is as low as possible.

The worker process

  • Contact
The company / entrepreneur must fill out a form with a description of the problem, needs and desired outcome.
  • First meeting
In the first meeting, one goes a little deeper to where the entrepreneur tells more about what is the problem so that one can get a detailed need description as the basis for the work.
  • Survey and group work
Law students working with clients do the necessary research to provide a good answer. The surveys will be carried out by at least two people and will be reviewed by the working group.
  • Final report
Finally, the company gets a legal note with a review of the problem, discussion, conclusion and the way forward. If further help is needed, this note should make it easier for entrepreneurs to talk to a lawyer in the next section.
  • Follow-up and post-work
If needed, students will be available for follow-up questions and help further. If the entrepreneur wants the help of a lawyer, we can forward the case.

Do you want to work with us?

We are looking for more people who want to work with us. We are growing rapidly and therefore looking for partners who want to work together in the work to build a long-term and good service. As the first student clinic for business law in Norway, there is much to be done.

The law students working in the clinic need access to mentors in the business world who can assist in a wide range of issues.

We would like to work with individuals with a 'pay-it-forward' mentality!

We want to work closely with the business community to build the largest student clinic with the capacity to help all entrepreneurs who need help.

We can't do it alone and want to work with companies that think this is as cool as we do!
