By the time you get to sales and marketing, it’s actually a wonderful business opportunity. Because this tells us that you have a product market fit, and that people are willing to pay for your products or services. 

So now what? How do we actually generate sustainable income? Having worked at tech sales in Silicon Valley for a few years; I like to think about marketing as a way of standing out in the crowd and earning your customers attention. Because let’s face it, the competition is fierce.

Once we have earned their attention, sales is simply a process to help them make the best decision that’s going to benefit them, not just you. And similar to a well oiled machine, by aligning marketing and sales together, you’re going to enable your business to better understand your customers and close deals faster.
